This pattern will help you to make a beautiful doll with dress, boots and a cape.

Materials
– Cotton of different colors:
For body, hair, dress, cape and boots.
Optionally you can use more colors to make tights,
the second color for cape, the second color for dress.
I use different cotton yarn to test it: HappyCotton (20 gr/43m) from DMC, Rainbow Cotton 8/4 (50 gr/170m) from Hobbii.
You can use your favourite yarn and colors.
– Crochet hook corresponded to you yarn (I used 2 mm crochet hook)
– Sewing thread (to embroider the face)
– Stuffing.
– Soft wire (opcional)
– Stitch markers and pins
– Yarn needle.
– Embroidery needle
– Two tiny buttons for the dress
– Scissors
Abbreviations I used (US terms)
mr – magic ring
ch – chain
blo – back loop only of the stitch
flo – front loop only of the stitch
sc – simple crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
inc – increase sc
incdc – increase dc

Arms
Color of body. Do not stuff them.

Cut the yarn, hide the ends.
Make the second arm. We will join them with the body later.
Legs
If you make the doll with tights, use the color of tights.
Without tights use the color of the body.
Stuff legs in the process. If you use wire, don´t stuff them too much.

Cut the yarn, hide the ends, make the 2nd leg, but DO NOT cut the yarn.
Put the legs together.
4 ch (to join the legs), 10 sc on the first leg, 4sc on each of 4 ch, 10sc on the second leg, 4sc on each of 4 ch (on the other side of the chain).
Now you have 28 stitches in total. We keep crocheting.
Body
Stuff the body on the process.
You can put wire in the legs.
Use a stitch marker to mark the start of each round.

If you make the doll with tights, change the color of the yarn to the body color

Now look where is your stitch marker.
If it is not in the center of the chest of the doll, you have to make a couple of stitches or delete a couple of stitches to have the start of the round in the center of the chest.
On round 11 we start to join the arms.
11. 2sc, 3sc working in 3 stitches of the body and 3 stitches of the first arm, 6sc, 3sc working in 3 stitches of the body and 3 stitches of the second arm, 2sc. (16)
Now you can insert the wire in the arms.

Cut the yarn, but leave a long tail and close the hole with a yarn needle.
Hair
Join the yarn of the hair color on round 14 of the head in the front loop of one of the stitches.

Now you have 20 curls.
Make 1slst in the nearest front loop of round 16 of the head,
(in the front loops of round 16 of the head).

Don’t cut the yarn. Work around the left edge of the back of the dress.

In the start of each round make 1 ch, in the end of each round join with slst in the ch.

Don´t cut the yarn and make the border: crochet hdc in each round of the right part, of the hood and then the left part. Cut the yarn and hide the ends.
Cords with stars
First, make the star

Then make slst in the first stitch of round 4 and make 15 ch (o more if you want longer cord). Join the cord with the cape on round 24 on the right part.
Make the second cord with star and join it with the cape on the left part on the same round 24.
