It’s a crochet backpack with a fox face. I designed it for my Francesca doll. But you can make it for any doll or toy.

Necessary materials
A little amount of cotton in three colors: raw (or white), red and a little black (I used Casasol cotton L)
Crochet hook 4 mm
Yarn needle for sewing parts.
Sewing needle for embroider the eyes.

I use American English crochet terms
mr – magic ring
ch – chain
st – stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
p – picot stitch
dec – decrease
sl st – slip stitch
x – repeat
Start!
Firstly, let´s make a base of the backpack with raw color
1. 11 ch, skip the 1st sh, 9sc, 4sc in the next ch,
on the other side of the chain
8sc, 3sc in the next ch . (24)
join with sl st in the 1st sc.
2. 1ch, working on the back loops only of each stitch 24 sc. (24)
join with sl st in the 1st sc.
The rounds 3-12 tejer working on the front loops only of each stitch
3-12. 1ch, 24sc (24)
Head
Change to red color to crochet the head.
The rounds 1-14 working on the both loops of each stitch .
1-4. 1ch, turn, 12sc (12)
5. 1 ch, turn, 1 dec, 8sc, 1dec (10)
6. 1 ch, turn, 10sc
7. 1 ch, turn, 1 dec, 6sc, 1dec (8)
8. 1 ch, turn, 8sc
9. 1ch, turn, 1 dec, 4sc, 1dec (6)
10. 1ch, turn, 6sc
11. 1ch, turn, 1 dec, 2sc, 1dec (4)
Change to black color to crochet the snout.
12. 1ch, turn, 4sc
13. 1ch, turn, 1sc, 1dec, 1sc (3)
14. 4ch, sl st in the last stitch.
Embroider the eyes between rounds 3 and 4.
The nose (as a button to close the backpack)
Leaving long tail for sew it
5sc in mr
Sew it as it shown on the picture.
The ears (2)
In mr make 1sl st, 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 1pp, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc, 1sl st.
Sew the ears between the rounds 1 and 2 of the head.
Backpack handles
51 ch, skip 1 ch , 50sl st.
Sew it as it shown on the picture.
