Miguel the bear. Free amigurumi pattern.

This is a crochet pattern. He is a nice little bear. His name is Miguel. He can be your companion to travel, study or play. It’s not big, so you can take it anywhere.

It’s my first amigurumi pattern, I hope you like it 🙂

I used acrylic and cotton yarn to test the pattern. You can choose your favorite colors.

Necessary materials

Yarn of the main color for the legs, arms, body and ears. (yarn A)
Yarn of the different color for the face and the tail. (yarn B)
Crochet hook de 2,5 mm
Stitch markers
Stuffing.
Yarn needle for sewing parts.
Sewing needle for embroider eyes and nose.
Scissors

Mr – magic ring
ch – chain
st – stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
inc – increase
dec – single crochet 2 front loop stitches together
sl st – slip stitch
x – repeat

Legs (2) (yarn A)

1r. sc6 in mr (6)
2r. inc x 6 (12)
3r. 12sc (12)
4r. 1ch, turn, 6sc (6)
5r. 1ch, turn, 6sc (6)
6r. 2sc together, 2sc together, 2sc, 2sc together, 2sc together, 6sc (12)


7-11r. (5 rows) 12sc (12)
Cut the yarn, make 2nd leg.
Don’t cut the yarn of 2nd leg, 7sc, 8ch, attach to 1st leg so as the legs are facing each over.


Stuff the legs tightly.

Body (yarn A)

From the row 12 start to use stich markers. Mark the first stich of the row.

Cut the yarn, but leave long tail for sewing.
Stuff the body tightly.
Sew the opening.

Cut the yarn, but leave long tail for sewing.
Close and sew.

Arms (yarn A)

1r. sc5 in mr (5)
2r.inc x 5 (10)
3-12r (10 rows). 10sc, (10)
Stuff it for 1/3 or do not stuff it.
Cut the yarn, but leave long tail for sewing.
Close and sew in the row 13.

Tail (yarn B)

1r. 6sc in mr(6)
2r. inc x 6 (12)
3r. 12sc, sl st
Cut the yarn, but leave long tail for sewing.
Sew it.

Face (yarn B)

1r.8 ch, In the 2nd ch 1sc, 3sc, 2 hdc, 3 hdc in the last, 2 hdc 4 sc. Sl st in the 1st ch


2v. 1 ch, inc, 5sc, 3inc, 5 sc, inc, sl st.
Cut the yarn, but leave long tail for sewing.
Sew it

Embroider nose and eyes on the row 7.

      Not very much.
      For example:
      Garnstudio DROPS Safran
      0.5 skeins = 86.9 yards (79.5 meters), 25 grams
